    Many good ideas! A couple of points. You don’t need to reinvent the bicycle here. Nursing home patient units are already adequately designed for elderly patients. All you need is a bed, dresser, closet, and a bathroom with a sliding door, high enough toilet with a grab bar. Although I do like the continuous grab bar in front of the sink and the cabinets that you can write on.

NO scale built into the floor...how absolutely mortifying! Having to go through the bathroom to get to the bedroom is a major issue as well.

But I know Kris is older than me because he used to come talk to classes at my high school when I was still there. I think he might even be Alternative High alumni like Leslie Feist.

After adhere to this particular depression treatment “fetching kafon press” (Google it), I have held my depression at bay since that time. The outcomes were merely amazing..

    Improve answering (& replying to peoples messages) the only telephone line you have for the public. We want to speak to people, not answering machines. We had to travel there just to be able to get an appointment, which can easily be done on the phone. One of the staff members at the desk asked me If I chose the right option for the call. I asked her for which option to choose (the number to select), and she didn't know and tells me to just select any option but the cancelling appt options. :(( Thanks to her she gave us an appointment in less than two minutes. It took us 35 minutes to travel there and paid $10 dollars for the parking too (for 2hrs). A friend of mine had also experienced this.

    You take your wind and solar power, and pump water to a higher location, storing the energy as a dam would, with a head of water, releasing water thru a waterwheel or turbine when power is required in the absence of wind or solar. no batteries or high tech fuel cells required.

    • @rightwingtrollslayer
      @rightwingtrollslayer 7 лет назад

      The energy needed to pump water to a higher location would be greater than the energy extracted by the same water flowing from that height, like a dam. Therefore, it is not feasible. We would be better off to just use solar power itself.

    • @jimhofoss9982
      @jimhofoss9982 7 лет назад

      nkjenknkwefdk Yes, but power 24/7 with a dam, no batteries required to maintain or replace.

    • @rightwingtrollslayer
      @rightwingtrollslayer 7 лет назад

      Well, you could connect solar directly to the grid without the use of batteries. And, a pump which is run on solar will suffer the same issue as no sunlight at night.

    • @jimhofoss9982
      @jimhofoss9982 7 лет назад

      nkjenknkwefdk thats why you pump water during daylight, water turbine at night from the dam.

      Hi Rich. A fuel cell does need a fuel source, such as hydrogen. It uses that fuel, combined with oxygen, to create electricity via chemical reaction. An advantage over other energy-production methods is that no pollutants are created in the process - water is the only by-product. The Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association has a good explanation of how fuel cells work, including a video: www.chfca.ca/education-centre/what-is-a-fuel-cell/

    • @TheSaskachewan1

    • @ucalgaryca

      Hydrogen is the most common type, but fuel cells can also be powered with other fuels such as methanol, ethanol, natural gas or biogas.
